“God is not a belief to which you give your assent. God becomes a reality whom you know intimately, meet everyday, one whose strength becomes your strength, whose love, your love. Live this life of the presence of God long enough and when someone asks you, “Do you believe there is a God?” you may find yourself answering, “No, I do not believe there is a God. I know there is a God.” ~Ernest Boyer, Jr. (Thanks, Ann)

Honor

Today my husband made me so proud. Of course. He stood and spoke for Father's Day and he used his whole time to honor his own dad and the remarkable foundations laid in his life by his dad. Glory to God. My bigger boy read the words to all the songs and sang along - delighted to recognize the praising "like at our own church!" and the littles gloried in their grandma: gum and cuddles and whispering. I did my best to reflect big RESPECT back to my husband as he spoke. I was so proud to be his today.
